Miami Dade College to Close at 2 p.m. Monday, August 18 Due to Tropical Storm Fay
Miami, Monday, August 18, 2008 - Miami Dade College (MDC) will close at 2 p.m., Monday, August 18, 2008, due to Tropical Storm Fay. All activities scheduled for this evening have been postponed. The MDC administrative workshop scheduled this afternoon has been rescheduled for Friday, Aug. 22, at 2 p.m.
The College’s essential employees are asked to immediately consult with their supervisors regarding their schedules.
The MDC emergency planning team continues to monitor the progress of Fay. The team will reconvene Monday evening to assess the status of operations Tuesday, and will promptly notify the college community of any changes.
