Equal Opportunity for All

Miami Dade College purchases a wide range of commodities and services from many businesses. The selection of vendors and contractors is based on criteria which may include competitive prices, quality and timely delivery of services or goods.

Opportunities to participate as a vendor are available in construction, construction-related work and the procurement of commodities, as well as in a range of professional services in areas as varied as engineering, medical, information technology and much more. Minority participation is encouraged in all projects.

It is the Purchasing Department's duty to assure that items, that are required by the departments, are purchased as expeditiously as possible while adhering to all of the rules and regulations established for procurement by the College, the State and according to good business practices.
