Electrician Preapprenticeship Program
The Construction Pre-apprenticeship program prepares individuals to enter a short-term training program that leads to a rewarding career pathway. It combines college coursework, mentoring, and paid wages ($14-$15) per hour. Pre-Apprentices receive free tuition, Free books, and health insurance while on-the-job training. During classroom instruction, participants will learn OSHA safety, blueprint reading, tool usage and other trade skills for a job in construction. Upon program completion, apprentices will receive a nationally recognized Certificate of Completion, with the opportunity of earning an industry recognized credential.
The Electrician Preapprenticeship is a one-year program where a qualified journey worker will teach you the basics of electrical theory, safety, as well as how to interpret electrical drawings and the use of the use of electrical tools. This program combines classroom instruction, mentoring, and on the job training. Upon completion you will receive a culmination of one or more industry recognized credentials.
