How to schedule a virtual appointment with a Career Coach

1. Visit Handshake
2. Click on Register/Login
3. Once you are on your profile page click “Career Center” at the top of the toolbar
4. Scroll down to select “Appointment“
5. Click on "Schedule a New Appointment"
6. Select your year in School.
7. Select the topics you would like to discuss:
   • Career Planning
   • Searching for a job
   • Cover Letter and Resume Assistance
   • Dress for Success
   • Interview Preparation
   • LinkedIn Profile Creation Assistance
8. Select the day and time you would like to meet with your career coach

They will reach out to you via email to confirm your appointment. You may meet with them over the phone or through Blackboard Collaborate Ultra virtually where you can share the screen with your Career Coach and receive feedback on your resume in real time.
