Florida Health - Licensure Requirements
SPECIAL NOTE TO STUDENTS WITH BACHELOR'S DEGREE OR HIGHER
Students who have obtained a Baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college/university with a combination of 30 semester hours (45 quarter hours) of biology and chemistry AND successful completion of a NAACLS accredited Histotechnician or Histotechnology program within the last 5 years therefore you will be eligible to sit for national certification exam for histotechnologist, after completing this program.
